Text Messaging (SMS)
SMS (Short Messaging Service) is the great new way to keep in touch! Simple and easy to use, text messaging allows you to say G'day to family, friends and colleagues on the go. When you don't have the time or are simply unable to make a call, SMS is perfect.
Each text message allows you 160 characters to type and send to anyone with a compatible mobile phone.
Picture Messaging (MMS)
Many of the latest and greatest mobile handsets are MMS capable which means you can send and receive messages in the form of a picture, text, sound or video, or a combination of all four. MMS can be sent to both mobile phones and email addresses. If your mobile has an inbuilt camera you can capture and send your very own photographs. MMS is charged at a slightly higher rate and has a maximum capacity of 100kB per unit, although your mobile phone will have a default size based on the manufacturer.
MMS supports GIF, JPEG, MPEG 4, MP3 and MIDI graphic formats.
